Eslöv BOS and CAC!

Eslöv BOS and CAC!

The smooth coat boys did very well this time! In an amazing weather – sun, rain & crazy storm. The tents almost blow away!

Gerry Best Male and BOS  and Thomas 2 Best male with CAC! He has done so well from junior class, so happy for all Lisbeth Göl does with him.

Musse was BM 2.
The girls Mimmi, Miranda and Allie didn’t get any place. It was was 7 girls in Chkl and mine were out immediately. Boring but that’s the game 😉

Happy to see all friends! Louise with kids, thank you for coming!

In memory

A lovely lady and a big person in the Swedish Chihuahua world took her last breath September 19, Birgitta Granfeldt left us and my thought are with her family.

Birgitta was a wonderful, kind person that worked for the breed and the club her whole life.
I loved to listen to her stories about the breed and shows then compared to now. She always said it was more fun, friendly and all together on those days – not at all the hard competition as it is today. She had many great wins and successful dogs.
I also heard some fun anecdotes from a co-driver to her, that if she didn’t win at show the trip home in the car was very fast and not so much talking 😉

In the photo she is in her kitchen, we drink coffee, eat cake and talk dogs. In her lap, as always, she has Silla (Chi’s Lovely Silvia) one of her dogs that lived with her to the last day – and at this very moment Silla is in my lap

She will be truly missed!

Puppies!

Puppies!

Oh I wanted this so bad! Love puppies! And so they arrived and are now 1 week old and so fat and pretty! It’s 1 boy (black/tan) and 1 girl (sable). Not sure the coat yet but guess the boy is LC and the girl SC.
So grateful to Susanne Johansson who have the mother Bodil on breeding terms that she could deliver the puppies and have them in her home.

We visited them yesterday and had a big cuddle â™„ Now I really want time to pass a bit quicker till I get them home.

Father is Klas – Chi’s Lovely King Alonso. Son to 2 of my absolutely best dogs Chi’s Lovely Miranda and Chi’s Lovely William Page.
Mother is Chi’s Lovely Miss Maria, daughter to Chi’s Lovely Julia Capulet and Guichon’s Suited Up In Black.

2 new Champions!

2 new Champions!

So, so happy!

What a day with 2 new champions in one day!!

First out and in pouring rain was Gerry, he started in SC to win open class. Judge was Siv Jernhake. It was pretty nervous as it was also a foreign champion male that could take the CAC, and of course the other class winners. He ended up as BM 2 after a Ch and had some champions behind to, so when the judge chose between 2 and 3 I already understood he had won the CAC. Nice feeling in the crazy rain! He also became Finnish Champion.

Then it was Musse – he had no big luck this time. He came 2 i Ch class and ended up as BM4 (his worst result during this whole year so far lol).

Then the next dogs was Mimmi and her cousin Lara in open class. They did really good! Came 1 and 2 with CK.
Miranda – 4 in ch class with CK. So I had to ask for help showing her in BF – and she really hates that, she can just be shown by me. Poor girl, she was so depressed 😉

But I made the right decision to take Mimmi my self as she ended up as best female! Nr 1 with CAC and new Champion! Last turn in the ring was so exciting, the champion class winner was not SE CH so she could also take the CAC, a pretty MultiCh girl from Denmark. So, very exciting!

We showed the group and it got excellent critique!

Thank you for coming Helén and Conny Perked, nice to see you and thanks for all photos!
Thank you Madeleine Eriksmoen for helping me with Miranda in BF and with the breeders group! Also thanks for Susanne hosting me in her tent.

A lovely day  ♄

Their sister Mimmi was also there, she came 3 in open.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam

Amsterdam – such a pretty town.

Thursday night at 10 pm I can tell you non of us thought the trip would be possible. Mathildas little boy run away! Our neighbor phone and had seen him running on a big road by their house. We looked for him for hours, the dark came and we shout and searched. So horrible. I thought we had to cancel the trip and continue our search for days… But then Mathilda phoned and she had found him on a field! What a happiness!! So at 1 o’clock I was in bed. At 6 we have to leave.

So we left really early Friday morning, car packed with dogs and people! It took 16 hours to drive there! Omg… When we arrived in the evening it was crazy rain. The hotell was okay, the stairs up 3 floor were amazing, so steep it was almost like climbing an a ladder. No elevator. (Can’t be easy to be handicapped in this city). We had the windows towards the street with trams. So very noisy and not possible to sleep with open window and very hot in the room.

Saturday

We had a day off and just walked around, photographed, ate, found a gorgeous street with flowers and bulbs in all forms. Had to buy some tulips! Loved it!
Happend to walk in to Red district and such a tragedy. We all felt very bad with all the girls in windows. Horrible this can continue and be okay! Kind of made the city less nice.

We took a turist boat on all the canals. Took 1 h and it was wonderful. Away from all people in the street and very calming watching all beautiful houses and the amazing windows. Just do it if you are going there!

We went by Anne Frans house, didn’t go inside as the line was terrible.

And oh, I bought a coat to! Really needed it, really. 😉

Then back to hotell and bathing dogs and prepared for tomorrow show.

Sunday showtime.

After the show we went to a restaurant and took an early night in bed. So tired all of us. And leaving really early for the long trip home (took 15 h…).

Thank you girls for a lovely trip! So much fun!
